House extension and second level deck plans which had been submitted and approved by the Council from the previous builder were flawed. James went through the plans thoroughly and helped us through the process of changing them to be compliant. James was extremely professional in all he did, which included bringing our neighbours onside after they had been alienated by the previous builder. He and his teams work was great and we have every confidence in recommending Overhaul Construction Ltd. The building inspector even commented on the excellence of the replaced retaining wall. James Sutton of Overhaul Construction Ltd completed a job for me that required more skill and effort than the average carpentry job and he completed it to my full satisfaction.
I wished to convert an old packing shed built on a slope into a useable workshop for motor vehicles. The shed required strengthening and the entrance to the shed needed widening as well as been constructed in such a fashion to allow low slung cars to enter.
On inspection it had some rotten piles and floor beams. The job required doubling the number of floor joists and the addition of a 20mm ply floor glued and nailed. This was not an easy job working under the shed. However the job was completed quickly and to a high standard for a cost far less than replacing the entire shed.
We now have a very strong and useable workshop. I will definitely be using James and Overhaul Construction Ltd for future work.
